Can I paint or treat the furniture surfaces myself?

You have two ways to choose:

  • Finished surface: Choose a finished surface if you want immediate results.
  • DIY surface: Order the furniture untreated. You can paint, stain, or pattern the surfaces exactly as you wish – only your imagination is the limit!

The edges of the board are always left untreated, allowing for individual oil, wax, or lacquer treatment.

Read more about surface treatment in our blog.

How much do the furniture modules weigh?

In our design, we strive for an optimal structure that combines lightness and durability. The weight of each module is listed on its product page in our online store. The total weight of the entire furniture set is typically 50–100 kg, depending on the chosen configuration, so individual furniture pieces are easy to lift into place.

How much weight can the bed or drawers hold?

Our furniture is designed to withstand normal, even heavy use. In places where extreme strength is required – such as bed bases and slatted frames – we use Finnish birch plywood. This ensures that the structures do not sag or fail even under heavy use. In design, we follow the same sustainability thinking as we have during our long history in the manufacture of special furniture.

Do you make custom furniture?

Currently, we are focusing on our modular collection, which is designed to fit as many vehicles as possible. Two different sizes are available. Unfortunately, we do not undertake individual custom projects. However, thanks to the versatility of the modules, you can create very individual combinations by combining different parts.

Why is the furniture removable and not fixed? What are the benefits?

Removability is at the core of our design philosophy, and it offers several significant advantages:

  • Vehicle versatility: This is the biggest benefit. When the furniture can be removed, your van can serve you during weekdays for work or transport and transform into an adventure vehicle on weekends and holidays. You don't need two separate vehicles.
  • Preservation of vehicle value: Since installation does not require permanent changes to the car's structures (such as drilling holes in the body), your vehicle's resale value is better preserved.
  • Flexibility and future-proofing: If you change cars, you can transfer your modular furniture to a new, suitable vehicle. You can also modify the arrangement or update individual modules as your needs change.
  • Easy maintenance and cleaning: The car is significantly easier to clean thoroughly when the furniture can be lifted out of the way.
How do your products take into account environmental friendliness and sustainable development?

Responsibility is one of our most important values, and it is reflected in our operations in three ways:

  1. Utilization of existing resources: Our biggest ecological act is enabling the conversion of existing vans. This significantly reduces the need to manufacture new, resource-intensive motorhomes.
  2. Durable materials: We use high-quality and durable materials that are designed to withstand time and use. A long-lasting product is always more environmentally friendly than a short-lived one.
  3. Repairability: Unlike mass-produced furniture, our products are designed to be repairable. If a part wears out or breaks over the years, it can be repaired or replaced without having to discard the entire module.

How long does it take to assemble and install the furniture in the van?

The time depends on the scope of the package you choose. Assembling a single module, such as a bed module, typically takes 1–2 hours. Assembling and installing the entire interior in a van usually takes one day or a weekend of calm work. Our clear instructions are designed to make the process as smooth as possible.

Can I really install the furniture myself, even if I have no prior experience?

Yes, you can. This is the core idea of our entire product. You do not need prior experience in furniture installation. If you know how to use a cordless drill and follow instructions, you will surely succeed. All parts are precisely pre-machined, so you don't have to saw or drill anything yourself.

What tools do I need for installation?

You don't need special tools. Basic tools are sufficient, such as:

  • Cordless drill/screwdriver with appropriate bits
  • Tape measure
  • (We recommend) A rubber mallet or a regular hammer with a block of wood in between, so you can tap joints tighter without damaging the surface.
How is the furniture secured in the van? Will it stay firmly in place?

Yes. Safety is paramount to us. The furniture is designed to be fastened to the vehicle's original, factory-installed load securing points. We supply the necessary fastening solutions with the modules, such as separate brackets, with which the entire assembly is securely locked in place. The furniture cannot move during driving.

The durability of one quick-release strap is 250-400 kg. When one piece of furniture is secured with two straps, the durability is up to 500-800kg. The fastening of the furniture is therefore very safe.
