Our story didn't begin on the road, but deep in the North Karelian soil, in Joensuu. For decades, we have custom-made special furniture that combines uncompromising quality, durability, and Finnish design. We have honed our skills and learned to understand materials and their soul.

In recent years, we noticed a change around us. More and more people began to long for freedom, detachment from everyday life, and a genuine connection to nature. The growing vanlife trend and the desire to experience the world on one's own terms awakened something new in us. We saw how people were looking for sustainable and individual solutions for their campervans, and we realized that we had something to offer this movement.

An idea was born: what if we combined our deep craftsmanship with this modern desire for freedom?

We created a modular furniture collection designed to meet this very need. Our furniture can be adapted to a wide range of different vans, giving you the freedom to choose the vehicle that suits you.

Behind the Life4Van product family and concept is Joen Erikoiskaluste Oy from Joensuu, known as a high-quality Eastern Finnish manufacturer of custom-made and special furniture. It is important to us that our products are not faceless mass production. Each furniture ensemble is created with meticulous work and high-quality materials, listening to the customer's needs.

Entrepreneur Jarkko Kauhanen, together with his skilled team, is behind the company and the development of the innovative Life4Van collection. In our workshop located on Ukkolantie in Joensuu, traditional Finnish carpentry, modern modular design, and a genuine understanding of the demands of a mobile lifestyle are combined.
